RE: Brief on Bill C-31, Part 4, Division 16: Defence Investment Agency Act, section 12

Hello,

I demand that Canada build its new defence industry in the North, out of range of the United States. Bill C-31 decides where $180 billion of defence procurement goes. Section 12 must order the Minister to place at least half of the new production capacity more than 150 km from the border, with a set share in Yukon, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut.

The attached PDF replaces the brief the Committee published on 6 October 2026. In the published document the table of distances lost its columns.

Replace the published document with the attached version by 23 October 2026. Distribute it to the members before clause-by-clause consideration of Division 16.

Respectfully,
Danilo Dzyuban
