The brief follows below. Under Standing Order 108(2) the Committee studies and reports on all matters relating to Fisheries and Oceans Canada. The list of work of the Committee on 30 September 2026 contains no study of the Arctic. The brief asks the Committee to begin one.

Of the 933 harbours of the Small Craft Harbours program, Nunavut holds 2 and Hudson Bay none.

Distribute the brief to the members of the Committee.

Confirm in writing, by 14 October 2026, the date of distribution to the members.
