Marked patrol vehicles: what sets the required specifications, when the Board approved them, and the annual reports.

Hello,
This concerns the Board's own policy AI-008, Marked General Patrol Vehicles, as published in the Board Policy Manual of April 2026.
The policy records: "DATE APPROVED 25 July 2005", "DATE REVIEWED 2007, 2010, 2013, 2017", "DATE TO BE REVIEWED 2022", "REPORTING REQUIREMENT Annual compliance reporting". It requires the Chief of Police to "ensure that the police service's marked general patrol vehicles meet required specifications".
Three things follow.
First, the specifications. Which document sets the required specifications for the marking of a marked general patrol vehicle, and on what date did the Board approve it? Where any wrap, decal, painted element or other marking has been applied to a service vehicle beyond those specifications since 1 January 2023: on whose written decision was it applied, what did it cost the police budget, and on what date did the Board vote on it?
Second, the reports. The reporting requirement written into the policy is annual compliance reporting. Provide the compliance reports for AI-008 for 2023, 2024 and 2025. Where no report was made for a year, state that for that year in writing.
Third, the review. The policy carries a date to be reviewed of 2022 and no date of amendment. 4 years have passed. State the date on which the Board will review it, or state that no review is scheduled.
The answer, whatever it is, will be published with the name and title of the person who gives it. A refusal to answer, or silence, goes to the Inspector General of Policing under the Community Safety and Policing Act, 2019, as a question of whether the Board oversees compliance with its own policy.
